Member At Large #2 - Membership

Members-at-Large are elected at the spring meeting of the odd numbered years and take office at the conclusion of such meeting.  

Active/PT or Life/PT member of APTA/OPTA in good standing. Candidate shall have been a member of APTA at least one year and OPTA at least six months immediately prior to election.  

Be willing to play an active role in chapter activities and in specifically assigned duties.  

Position 2: shall direct the activities of the membership committee.

1. Track and acknowledge new, renewing and lapsed members.

2. Establish a plan to sustain and increase membership.

3. Serve as OPTA contact to APTA member services.

4. Chair membership committee meetings, membership drives and coordinate committee efforts as appointed by the Board.

5. Report to the Board on the activities and information current to the membership committee.

6. Submit an annual budget projecting the revenues and expenses related to their area of responsibilities.

7. Attend Board meetings and meetings of the general membership in the fall and spring including submission of written report.

8. Mentor 1-2 potential candidates to take over the position.

10-12 hours per month.
